Male and female wellness blood tests
Blood tests are a simple and quick way to check for underlying health problems, or monitor existing conditions. Whether you are concerned about your health, managing an existing condition or just curious, our blood tests are an affordable and easy way to start taking charge of your own health.
How it works:
Our qualified phlebotomist will take your blood in one of our comfortable consultation rooms at a time that is convenient for you.
The sample will be sent off to the lab the same day for processing to ensure a fast turn-around time.
A doctor will analyse your results and communicate them with one of our pharmacists, who will then go through them with you in detail, answer any questions and advise on any further treatment / monitoring if needed.
*It is important to note that blood tests alone are not a substitute for seeing a doctor if you are concerned about your health. You should not make a diagnosis or start any treatment without a consultation with a doctor or suitably trained healthcare professional.

This test checks the levels of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA). A high PSA can indicate problems with the prostate gland. Please note that a PSA test cannot be relied on to either diagnose prostate cancer or exclude the presence of prostate cancer. If it is high then you will need further investigations with a Urologist. If you have symptoms and it is low you will still need to see a doctor to consider further investigations.

What Is Erectile Dysfunction (ED)?
Erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, is the inability to get or maintain an erection and is common, particularly in men over 40. It's usually nothing to worry about and can be triggered by stress, tiredness or drinking too much alcohol. However, if occurring all the time may be a sign of an underlying physical or emotional problem.
How Can Exmouth Health Clinic Help?
In most cases erectile dysfunction can be treated by medication. Viagra Connect (the ‘blue pill’) is the most commonly known and is now available without a prescription. However, there are multiple other options also available that may suit your lifestyle / underlying problem better. We can provide suitable medication following a quick, convenient and discreet consultation at our clinic with one of our pharmacists without the need to see a GP and help you and your partner enjoying sex again.
We also offer an erectile dysfunction blood profile, which tests for a range of male hormones and other health indicators that can contribute to erectile dysfunction.
If you’re concerned about erectile dysfunction and are looking for some advice on treatment options, give us a call on 01395 222 878 to book an appointment or chat with our pharmacists.
